Meet James Buford

James Buford: A Leader Who Listens

James Buford has spent his life serving others, first as a carpenter, then as a pastor, and now as a candidate for U.S. Congress. For over 30 years, he’s been deeply involved in his community, helping families, solving problems, and doing what’s right. His approach to life has always been guided by a strong work ethic, integrity, and a deep sense of faith.

Before he became a pastor, James worked as a carpenter, learning the value of hard work and problem-solving. Those lessons have shaped his career and his passion for helping others. As a pastor, he provided spiritual guidance and support to those in need. Listening and acting on the concerns of his community are values that have always driven him, and they continue to guide his approach to leadership. He is a father of five and grandfather of twelve, and they are why he’s so driven to make a difference for future generations.

A Commitment to Serve, Not Control

“I’m running for Congress because I believe it’s time for a government that actually works for the people. I’ve spent my life listening to the concerns of my community and doing everything I can to help. Now, I want to bring that same commitment to Washington.”

James believes our government should serve us, not control us. He’s seen firsthand how government programs can miss the mark, and how small businesses and hardworking families can get left behind. With his experience in business and faith, he knows what it takes to solve problems and make government more accountable to the people.

He’s ready to bring real change, fight for a government that’s more efficient, and ensure that every decision made in Washington puts the needs of the people first.
